You don't need a twitter account to follow tweets. Its very simple. You just need to text follow @twitteruser and change out @twitteruser for the actual twitter users username.

SMS Gateway Price and Feature Comparison

Recently I have been developing a SMS application for a customer in Rockhampton and have spent significant time researching SMS Gateways for my customer in attempting to select the most appropriate one for his application.  Many great SMS Gateways don’t suitably work in Australia, which is dissapointing.  We have ended up selecting Tropo – www.tropo.com

Some of you may be wanting to use a list of countries in Drupal Webform for the purposes of compiling a drop down list of countries.  When creating your webform the module will ask you to provide the options as a list of key option pairs.  After searching on Google I wasn’t able to locate a list prepared for Drupal, so here is the list I created in the right format myself.  Copy and paste and save yourself a lot of typing.

This week I was building a website for a church where they wanted the last tweet from the minister to appear on the home page.  It sounds like the kind of thing that everyone does and rather than reinvent the wheel I thought I’d google for a little script.  I found a lot of sites with scripts but they mostly boiled down to the same 3 or 4 scripts – and none of them worked.

Escrow is a service where if you want to pay for an item online but don’t trust the vendor to send it, you pay a third party who holds the money until the item arrives.  It’s also good for a vendor who doesn’t trust the purchasor to pay. 

Australia doesn’t have a decent escrow service as it turns out, so Web Technology Queensland is in the process of starting an Escrow Australia service.

Do Nofollow Links Have Value - A Test

For a long time people went crazy trying to build links everywhere in an attempt to get a better ranking on the search engines.  Then Google invented the nofollow attribute for a hyperlink.  This attribute was a direction order to the Googlebot (and now used by other spiders) to tell them not to follow a link and index it.
